Every piece in the archive was once a beam, a floor, a doorpost. We work with you to determine its next life — designed to your specifications, built by the same hands that salvage the material.
Five stages, zero shortcuts. We keep you informed at every step — from selecting your beam in our Yogyakarta workshop to white-glove delivery at your door.
A 30-minute consultation to understand your space, intended use, dimensions, and aesthetic direction. Share a brief, moodboard, or sketch — we work from all of it.
1–3 daysWe photograph candidate beams and panels from the current archive. You choose your teak — the grain, the colour, the age marks. Each piece of teak is different; the choice is yours.
3–7 daysOur craftsmen produce detailed drawings and, for larger commissions, a 3D preview. We agree on joints, finish, hardware, and proportions before a single cut is made.
5–10 daysAll work is carried out in our Yogyakarta atelier. No outsourcing. Mid-build progress photographs are shared at key milestones. Final inspection video before crating.
6–16 weeksBespoke timber crating, CITES documentation, full insurance in transit. Sea freight to your nearest port; white-glove room-of-choice delivery and installation on arrival.
4–14 weeks transitEvery beam in our archive has a provenance: a demolished colonial-era building, a dismantled Javanese pendopo, a market hall that no longer stands. We document origin, estimated age, and structural role before a single piece enters the workshop.
Antique Java teak — timber that grew 80 to 200 years ago before Indonesian deforestation protections — is denser, tighter-grained, and more stable than plantation teak harvested today. It cannot be replicated. Once it is gone, it is gone.
We source exclusively from legal demolition sites, certified timber salvagers, and private estates across Central Java, East Java, and Sulawesi. All export documentation is CITES-compliant.
